Our Tapenade is a natural, fresh and healthy paste made from chopped olives and marinated with herbs of Provence.
Adapted from a French recipe
This recipe is originally from Marseille in France and is attached to the Food Heritage of The Provence.
This Provençal recipe includes capers, fruits and anchovies, and is treated much like Hummus is here.
Our recipe has been adapted by our founder, Antoine Quezel's family, to cater to vegetarians / vegans but also to make the recipe more versatile for everyone to enjoy, and super healthy.
Our production manager, Julian, has worked hard with Antoine to improve and refine this unique recipe for your enjoyment.
How to enjoy our Tapenades
Traditionally, the Tapenades are used with a little slice of bread as a starter or snack.
Our Tapenade's are also enjoyed with pasta, or with eggs, in salads.
Antoine originally created the black tapenade but due to the popularity and requests from customers we now also offer the Green Tapenade and the Chilli Black Tapenade.
